Love the breakfast for dinner board. Growing up in the 60’s, we called it “AM in the PM” when we had French toast or pancakes for dinner! Yum 😋

Dear Ina,

I have watched you from the beginning and now, here you are on line. It’s great. I have all your cookbooks. Whenever I felt gloomy, seeing you always made me feel better! Thank you for all you have done.

Me too! I’ve also been watching Ina from the start when her show premiered on Food Network, in 2002, and, I have all of her cookbooks and her memoir, too. Whenever I watch or see Ina either being interviewed, or cooking, or through her Instagram page, it just really makes me feel better, too!🙂❤️

Love this! Out of curiosity - what would be your choice beverage(s) to serve with a mezze plate?!

I had a drink in Amsterdam during a hot summer that I make now; muddled cucumber, lemon or lime juice and seltzer. If you need it sweet, you can prep fresh lemonade and add the cucumber.

Greek Wines. There are many good ones. I have a wine club and use a lot of Greek wines. Great whites, reds and sparkling.

I was reminded after reading your Platter ideas about raddish roses. They always made me feel like I had done something extra special for our guests. You are yourself someone extra special, a gift to all of us. Thank you!

A little off topic but I've always wanted the chance to tell you this, Ina. A few years back I worked at Williams Sonoma and many times men came in to buy their wives/partners one of your cookbooks. I can't tell you how many of those men commented on 1) how they thought you were sexy, 2) they thought you were pretty, and 3) how much they liked it when their wives/partners would cook them one of your recipes! Thought you might get a kick out of that!

If only you had an appreciation for presentation! Obviously, I’m kidding.

In my house you are known as my husband‘s girlfriend! I so appreciate you. I feel as if you’re a neighbor talking over the fence to all of us, thank you.

I agree on your movie choice and Mr. Peck. I once met him in a high rise elevator in LA. Just him and little ol’ me as a 20 something. A thrill! I love your platters and strive to recreate one. 😊

Everything on your platter looks amazing - such beautiful looking produce. I was in the Lake District yesterday and had the most delicious Strawberry French Toast Cheesecake for breakfast at the Wild Boar Estate 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Ina, I was moved by your timeless elegance from the seemingly easy mezzo platter to sharing one of Gregory Peck’s films and as you note a subtle yet profound message. You lifted my heart today, thank you💚

When I was small, my mom made a huge fried chicken luncheon on Sundays. We would then visit my grandma. On our way home, we stopped at the bakery for donuts for supper. What a treat.
