Ina, you provided my husband, friends and I with wonderful meals for the last couple of decades. Unfortunately, my partner of 50 years passed unexpectedly in December, At our last small get together I had just served your wonderful ham and leek empanadas. Everyone wanted the recipe. Now, however, I am cooking for one. Perhaps a cookbook that provides recipes for people living alone might be an interesting endeavor. I sure could use some help. Your wonderful Be My Guest is a welcome distraction from my new circumstances.

We Love You, watch all your shows, have all your cookbooks, gone to your interviews and love Jeffery too! I say at least twice a week, I wish Ina lived next door.

Cannot WAIT for the next season! Such a warm, charming show.

Your Charlie Bird salad is often a meal in itself at our house! So so good. My college friend's daughter boarded with us last summer because she had an internship here in DC. I made Charlie Bird salad and she said it won her over to farro (she'd never had it before) AND arugula. WIN!

A little tip: if you are on YouTube TV, you can subscribe to Be My Guest and new ones pop in automatically. (I know this happens with programs on other streaming platforms, but I still find it delightful.)

After reading that book ill never think of turtles or fish the same way. The wife’s optimism was really something.

Ina, loved watching your cooking shows on Food Network. I made your Charlie Bird salad and absolutely loved it! I knew it was going to be delicious because I love radishes and arugula. I never tried farro and fell in love with that. I hope to make more of your dishes soon, but I have to get some weight off because sometimes this year I will have a hernia repair and next year a knee replacement. So a strict diet in my house for awhile!🙄

I LOVED A Marriage at Sea as well. Beautifully written. What an amazingly strong, understated woman Maralyn was. I’ve thought a lot about her since reading the book. Her faith and courage in the face of almost-certain death. And thank you for your recipes Ina- just made the winter minestrone for dinner tonight. Yumm!!
