Another delicious Ina recipe is English Lemon Posset. There is a delicious custard that is easy to make and topped with strawberries Maseratis in Grand Marnier. I made twenty-four for granddaughter’s bridal shower. Everyone loved it.
I too love Kalustyan’s, a cook’s paradise. Your dessert recipe is always a hit in my home. Hope to get sweet strawberries at my local farmers’ market! Happy summer!🍓
Your orchard is gorgeous! Sometimes it's hard to believe how fast 20 years goes by. The moral is plant now and either you or someone will enjoy. The deconstructed strawberry shortcake looks perfect for a summer dessert with strawberries or whatever fruit is in season. Thanks so much Ina.
I've been fan for so long, when a new post drops it's like getting a text from a friend. 🤩 I just hopped over to Parnasus yesterday and picked up my copy of Whistler! And I love love love your orchard - I'm patiently waiting on my Japanese maples to mature. Thank you for being you and making all our lives more delicious!
Your White Crabapple trees are gorgeous! I have a few of a type of Crabapple tree outside my office window in the Mid-Hudson Valley region in New York. Last year I gathered enough fruit to try a small batch of Crabapple Jam (I found a recipe online). I enjoyed the jam, and I made mental notes of what I could do differently this year.
Thank you for being Ina...you are incredible, and the recipe and book recommendations....ahhhhhh
