My husband and I went to Le Meurice for Christmas Eve dinner on our honeymoon. He had to eat there because it was the first place in Paris that served food with a fork to eat it. We had a lovely time that lives in my memory, even though my husband is gone.

Dear Ina,

My Steve and I are arriving in Paris on October 8th. We are celebrating our 49th Anniversary, on the 10th! We are staying at the Madame Rêve. I’m excited to have your list to keep in my pocketbook!! Thanks for continuing to bring Paris into your conversation, it’s why I decided to go back again!! For all you do, Merci!

St. Eustache, with the largest organ in France, offers free concerts at 5 pm on Sundays - 50 minutes to an hour. Delightful appetizer for nearby restaurants....

NEWSROOM is the best! I've watched it all 3 times. I don't recall much food in the show. Oh well.

We just rewatched The Newsroom again a couple of months ago! And I agree with Dawn Robertson…S1 E1 should be required watching for all voters! 😊

Visiting Paris is on my bucket list…you’ve made me move it closer to the top!

Thank you so much for the wonderful narrative. I have wanted to go for sixty years but have not had the opportunity yet. I had a wonderful French teacher who attended the Sorbonne and shared parts of her life while living in Paris. I have never forgotten her or her love of France!

When I was in Paris many yrs ago my friend and I wandered the streets and found wonderful market in a residential neighborhood. So lovely! Had a most delicious hot chocolate there. It was like a melted chocolate bar. So loved being there
